Ahhhh... Can you imagine? A lazy day filled with front porch sunsets and a tall cold glass of lemonade to quench your thirst. This sounds like a stage a set for the beginning of one’s retirement.

Unfortunately, over 450,000 people age 65 and older are returning to the workforce out of necessity.

Can you imagine your mother or grandmother bagging groceries, waiting tables, or washing dishes to make ends meet? Do you have family or friends who can’t afford to retire? More often the answer to these questions is “Yes”.     

The down-turn of the economy has forced many retirees, who planned for a fruitful retirement to transform into mature job seekers.

What is even more frightening is the future for “us” who are looking forward to retiring. Will we be able to retire and enjoy the fruits of our labor?
