On Sunday we commemorate the bravery of 600 men women who 45 years ago dared to take a 54 mile march from Selma, Alabama, to the capital, Montgomer, for the right to vote. Many of these unarmed patriots were beaten with bully clubs and gassed by police officers.
How much has changed in the last 45 years ?
Many minorities voters still today face obstacles to casting ballots.
